Zilmers is featured at the Re-Framing Danish Design exhibition in May 2015 along with: Brdr. Krüger’s Tray Table by Hans Bølling, Fredericia’s J39 by Børge Mogensen, Fritz Hansen’s 7 Series chair by Arne Jacobsen, Montana and their Montana system by Peter J. Lassen, Lightyear’s Caravaggio lamp by Cecilie Manz, Carl Hansen & Søn’s Safari Chair by Kaare Klint, handpainted wallpaper by Zilmers and the brand new ‘Plateau’ by Søren Rose Studio to be launched for DK3, the Tongue by Arne Jacobsen from HOWE and the Fiber Chair by MUUTO.

Slow Luxury: Nordic wallpaper style by Heidi Zilmer

These luxury wallpapers are designed by Zilmers, a young/upcoming Danish design brand with focus on ancient Nordic patterns and revitalised craftsmanship. Heidi Zilmer designs and manufactures the wallpapers by hand - from start to finish. Available in 7 different patterns.

All painted surfaces and motifs are hand-painted, and all metals - from semi-precious to precious - are applied manually. These are examples from the Nordic Antique Collection with roots in traditional Scandinavian knitting patterns. What do you think?
